Llano Estacado Regional Water Planning Area

Agribusiness and ranching are the keystones of the diversified economy of the Texas High Plains. Cotton, grain sorghum, corn, wheat, peanuts, sunflowers, grapes, vegetables, and cattle produced in the region literally go around the world. Their economic impact on our area is in the billions of dollars...and the availability of water is a key factor influencing the region's agribusiness economy.
